parkingmeter_generic1.jpgParking meters and seven-day street sweeping in San Francisco will not be enforced on Thursday in honor of Thanksgiving, the municipal transportation agency said.

Both, however, will be enforced on Friday.

Commuter tow away, residential parking permits, and Monday-Friday street sweeping will not be enforced on either day, the SFMTA said.

Hazards are always subject to citation and towing.

On Thanksgiving Day, the San Francisco Municipal Railway will operate on a Sunday schedule. On Friday, Muni will follow a normal weekday schedule.
