police-light-bar1.jpgA male motorcyclist was killed late Tuesday afternoon in a crash in San Francisco’s Mission District, police said today.

Police spokesman Lt. Troy Dangerfield said the motorcyclist collided with a car at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of 16th and Harrison streets. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital half an hour later.

The medical examiner’s office today identified the victim as 25-year-old Drew Rosenberg, of San Francisco.

Dangerfield said the cause of the crash is still being investigated.

The driver of the car, a green Ford, stopped at scene and was not arrested, he said.
