The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.5 struck early this morning in Sonoma County.
According to the USGS, the quake rattled an area two miles east-northeast of The Geysers at 2 a.m.
The tremor had a depth of 1.1 miles, according to the USGS.
