to march from City Hall to Yerba Buena, before a flatbed truck pulled up to the rally, “blasting music.” The truck led a portion of the rally into the Castro, where a dance party slash rally was still going on when your correspondent took a spin through at 10 PM last night.

According to Terrance Alan, chairman of the SF Late Night Coalition and the folks behind the dance party flatbed, tonight’s rally was
planned in just one day, pulled together as the decision was announced yesterday morning, “to make sure politics don’t get boring.”
