tiffany.jpgA missing 14-year-old San Francisco girl believed to be with an older man she met on the social-networking website MySpace still has not been found, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said today.

Tiffany Alvarez was reported missing by police Saturday. For at least three months, Alvarez has been in contact through MySpace with a man believed to be in his 30s, police said.

“At this point, we don’t have any information that she was taken unwillingly or by force,” Esparza said.

Alvarez’ parents believe their daughter and the man, known as Gino, may have gone to Houston, Texas.

Gino is described as 6 feet tall with dark hair, dark eyes, light complexion and a large nose, according to police. He may be driving a newer-model silver Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

Alvarez is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, police said. She has brown hair and green eyes, and was last seen wearing gray velvet pajamas and carrying a black purse.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s missing persons unit at (415) 558-5508 or after hours at (415) 553-1071. Those wanting to remain anonymous can call (415) 575-4444.
