A reader, apparently aware of our reputation as anti-Prop 8 cheerleaders, asked us to make you aware of a San Francisco canvassing opportunity this Sunday with The Courage Campaign‘s Equality Team — that is, marriage equality. From our reader:

(Canvassers) are needed not just in SF, but all over the state. Courage Campaign is really taking the lead on data-collection in anticipation of a 2010 ballot fight, and they have some amazing secret weapons — so if someone’s looking for the right organization to volunteer for, THIS IS IT.

This Sunday’s effort is centered in Glen Park from 2:30-4:30. Get all the details or RSVP here.

Our reader also notes that if you’re a less socially inclined type, phone banking is another way to get involved. In his words:

You can do it online! Just a few clicks, and you can be making calls from home within a few minutes. No arguing with or persuading people, just surveys, so you don’t have to worry about getting into any arguments.
