So, you’ve already looked at our photos and video, but hunger for more news from Saturday’s demonstration? No need to end the party, here’s a wrapup of what else is out there:

SFPD made arrests (5? 10?), described by one participant as “violent

Some characterized the protest as “a bit smaller than in past years“, as having an “unexpectedly low turnout,” and as “paltry,” taking issue with the Chronicle’s description of the protest as “massive” (they’ve since edited that word out of their headline, but here’s a screencap). But one person described the crowd as “several thousand” strong. This picture (captioned as: “This was the bulk of the crowd just after the speakers stopped speaking”) seems to tell the tale.

Steve Rhodes’, Josh Wolf‘s, and Geoffrey King‘s photosets, more photos here.

Ariel Soto was only 7 during the Gulf War, but is old enough to leave house alone? We feel old.

UA in the Bay knocked over a lady and felt real bad about it.
