Sunday Streets Golden Gate Park/Great Highway
The seventh of nine Sunday Streets events will be held this Sunday in Golden Gate Park and along Great Highway. This event covers a route between JFK Drive at Transverse Drive and Great Highway at Sloat Boulevard. The route will be available for recreational activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free to all participants.

The headquarters for the event will be located at Lincoln Way and Great Highway, where participants can get details about activities along the event route as well as free bike rentals. Additional information and free bike rentals will be available at Great Highway and Taraval Street.

The following street closures will be required from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

? Lincoln Way (westbound only) between MLK Drive and Upper Great Highway
? Lincoln (eastbound only) between Upper Great Highway and Lower Great Highway
? Great Highway between Lincoln and the south exit/Ocean Beach parking lot
? Great Highway between Fulton and the south exit Ocean Beach parking lot
? Upper Great Highway (both directions); Fulton and 47 Avenue to Golf Course (Golf Course access only).
? No through traffic at Fulton and 36th and 30th avenues and Transverse.

The following Muni lines and routes will be affected:

? L Taraval
? 5 Fulton
? 18 46th Avenue
? 21 Hayes
? 23 Monterey
? 28 19th Avenue
? 29 Sunset
? 33 Stanyan
? 44 O’Shaughnessy

While traffic in the area may cause delays, the following Muni routes and lines will provide convenient access to Sunday Streets fun:

La Cocina Street Food Festival
The La Cocina Street Food Festival will be held on Saturday and require the following street closures from 6 p.m., Friday through midnight, Saturday:

* Folsom Street between 24th and 26th streets
* 25th Street between Harrison and Shotwell streets
* Treat Avenue between 25th and 26th streets
* Intersections: Folsom, Treat, Horace and Lucky at 25th Street

The 12 Folsom and 67 Bernal Heights Muni routes will be affected.

Transbay Terminal Construction
Construction at the Transbay Terminal this weekend will require a street closure on Beale Street between Howard and Folsom streets from 2 a.m., Saturday until 5 a.m., Monday.

Noriega Health Fair
The Noriega Health Fair will be held this Saturday and require the closure of Noriega Street between 31st and 33rd avenues from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 71 Haight-Noriega bus route will be affected.

49ers Football Game
The San Francisco 49ers will host their first home pre-season game on Sunday, against the Minnesota Vikings starting at 5 p.m. at Candlestick Park.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game. Fans attending the games are encouraged to take public transportation. For more information, go to www.sfmta.com/football.

On game days, Muni offers several ways to get to Candlestick Park from throughout San Francisco. There are four Muni Express routes and two Shuttles.

The Muni Express route is Special Event Fare Service with an adult fare of $10 roundtrip and a youth/senior/disabled fare of $9 roundtrip. The Special Event fare with a Muni or CityPass is $7.

The Candlestick Shuttles are regular fare service, $2 adult cash fare per trip and $.75 for youth/senior/disabled cash fare per trip. All Muni customers who pay cash fare should be sure to ask for a transfer as proof of payment. Please go to www.sfmta.com for fare details.

For service to and from the game, T Third customers should transfer at the Gilman/Paul station to the 87 Candlestick Shuttle, which operates directly between the station and Candlestick Park.
