Firefighters in San Francisco put out a one-alarm residential fire near Russian Hill tonight, a fire dispatcher said.
The fire was reported at 9:22 p.m. in the 1400 block of Greenwich Street and contained about 20 minutes later, the dispatcher said.
Some decking on the roof appears to have burned, he said.
No injuries were reported, and the cause remained under investigation.
