The fall TV premieres are still happening, but it’s more like a trickle now, instead of a gusher. And tonight’s only new show can be found on:

ABC:

“Suburgatory,” 8:30 P.M.

What Is It?: A sitcom about a teenager who must move out of Manhattan and into the suburbs with her single father.

Why To Watch: Jeremy Sisto, who plays the dad, is kind of hot, and both Cheryl Hines and Ana Gasteyer–two funny broads–are in it.

Why To Turn the Channel: If you aren’t already watching the ABC comedies surrounding this show, this isn’t the one to go out of your way for.

Returning Show:

ABC:

“Happy Endings,”
which kind of came out of nowhere as a midseason replacement series, and then shocked everyone by getting renewed, returns at 9:30 P.M. (And by the way, this show’s renewal is the reason why last night’s episode of “New Girl” did not feature Damon Wayans, Jr.)

Rain Jokinen watches a lot of television and movies and then writes things about them on the Internet. She's a San Francisco native, and yeah, she'll rub that fact in your face any chance she gets.
