If you’ve seen one episode of FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares, you’ve seen them all — notorious hollerer Gordon Ramsay goes to a struggling restaurant, eats their food, declares it disgusting, makes over the decor and menu, and the joint becomes an instant hit. Oh, unless it doesn’t.* And now, according to a FOX representative, the show’s looking to folks like you to “nominate” SF restaurants for the Nightmares treatment.

Kristin Curtin, Casting Producer for the show, says that “we are currently casting restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area for the next season of our show….and thought that your readers would be very knowledgeable about dining in the Bay Area and it would be a great way to get some suggestions or nominations for restaurants in the area.” Aw, see, she likes you guys!

I have to admit, there’s a restaurant I pass by nearly every day (that I manage to leave the house) that I’d LOVE to see on the show, so I’m totally nominating them. Surely you have a place like that in mind, too?

Curtin asks that you send the name and location of the restaurant, as well as a brief explanation of why the place deserves to be on the show, the owner and staff deserves to be berated by Ramsay, etc. to kristincastingshows@gmail.com or leave her a message at 1-866-226-2266.

Who will you be nominating?

*Some say the BBC version’s more nuanced, but I haven’t seen it, have you?
