Game Over IV
As the week-long Game Developers Conference comes to an end in San Francisco, Giant Robot is continuing the party with gallery show Game Over IV. In homage to the influence videogames have on popular culture, this group show displays diverse works by over thirty top artists in the fields of painting, illustration, indie comics, and videogames. Reception is from 6:30-10:00 pm at 618 Shrader Street in Haight.
4th Annual Plastic Camera Show
Toy cameras have made a definite come-back over the past few years, even gaining more respect in professional fields of photography. In RayKo Photo Center‘s largest exhibition of the year, artists from around the world were given the task to utilize plastic camera and lenses with outdated technology. Be inspired by photographers using cameras like Holga, Diana, Lomo, and Ansco as they display their work with an opening reception from 6-8 pm at Rayko (428 Third Street).

Snuggie Pub Crawl
By now you’ve definitely seen or heard about those ridiculous as-seen-on-TV fleece sleeping bags with arm cut-outs: the infamous Snuggie. If you haven’t already, now you finally have an excuse to get over to Walgreens or Target to purchase your own blue monstrosity. It will come in handy when attending the Annual San Francisco Snuggie Pub Crawl event in the Lower Polk area. Check out the facebook invite for all the details.
Mission United
On Saturday Public Works is hosting a collection of music, food, art, fashion, and performers from the Mission neighborhood all under one roof. As a bonus, if you click “attending” on the event’s Facebook event page, then you get $5 admission and can score free food from such vendors as: Gypsy Kitchen, Angry Man Eats, Saucy Dumplings, Panguita, and more. All proceeds go to charity, check out the website for full details on this event, which runs from 8PM to 3AM at161 Erie Street.

San Francisco Green Film Festival
Featuring over 70 film premieres, workshops with filmmakers, live music and various networking and happy hour events; the SF Green Film Festival is happening all weekend-long. So if you didn’t make it to one of the many events on Friday or Saturday, Sunday is your last chance to check out a film! Here is the full festival schedule, screenings are all happening at the Landmark Embarcadero (1 Embarcadero Center) with a special closing night party at 8:30 pm.
