Eat yummy pastries paired with some wine between the 3pm and the 5:05 showing of this film about French artisan pastry chefs. Filmed by DA Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus. Expect to see a Diane Lane character in the crowd, munching on some cream puffs talking to her Asian-American best friend about her husband’s lack of interest.
Inception – Red Vic
Conversation between me, who hasn’t seen Inception and some guy who has seen Inception:
Him: “there’s different depths of dreams.”
Me: “Oh! Like Nightmare on Elm Street?”
Him: “I haven’t seen that. There’s rotating rooms – “
Me: “Oh! Like Nightmare on Elm Street?”
Him: “People in your life are in your dreams, and you can control them by – “
Me: “Oh! Like Nightmare on Elm Street?”
So apparently, the reason why people find this movie to be amazing is because they have no knowledge of film. Of COURSE they went to film school! Ugh, sometimes predictability in people hurts me, so much so, it happens too damn often that I think I’m psychic.
