Crystal Castles and Robert Smith. That just sounds good. And when they collaborated and covered the Platinum Blonde track “Not in Love” they proved us right. Check out the melodramatic track above, tissues may be need.

Fellow Chicago rappers Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco have teamed up on a new track as part of Kanye’s GOOD Friday campaign. “Don’t Look Down” also features Mos Def and Big Sean, though it’s Lupe’s verse that takes the cake. Check it out.

“Louder Than Ever” is a spanking new song from the Cold War Kids, and according to interviews, that’s how the direction their sound is headed. The band has stated they aren’t afraid of making it big, even as an ‘indie’ band. Take a listen to the song and see if you like their new direction.

She said no to rehab, and apparently now it’s her party and she can cry if she wants too. Amy Winehouse is prepping us for her next album by giving us a cover of Lesley Gore’s classic “It’s My Party.” A very appropriate choice for Amy, she definitely seems like a wasted-crying-birthday girl type.

Check out their coverage of the musical side of the event, and also this video of Yusuf (formerly Cat Stevens) and Ozzy Osbourne and their ‘dueling trains’.

T.I. recently returned to an Arkansas prison in for 11 months after violating parole, but he won’t be eating too shabbily. According to TMZ, the menu looks like this: grilled cheese, PB&J, mac and cheese, hamburgers, vegetables, chicken patties and the house mystery dish of ‘creamed beef.’ Aside from that last one, count me in.

You can expect a song from Rihanna and Katy Perry in the near future, and hell, I’m even looking forward to it. Rihanna recently told MTV that the two bad girls are working on a new song, and that’d she love to tour with Katy because she’s a “rock star.” Yes, Rihanna, I would too.
