Happy Halloween!

If you’re looking to do a little ghost hunting, then you should head to the western side of town. The Richmond District was home to several cemeteries in the early days of San Francisco. Most of the bodies got moved out to Colma Cemetery but not all of them. Watch a video about why the Richmond is one of the spookiest ‘hoods in the city.

How fitting that everything is orange right now since our Giants are kicking a**! I sat down with the Richmond District’s “Baseball Mary” this week to get her take on the World Series and her 20 year love affair with the boys in orange and black. She’s a real baseball superfan – watch my video interview with her.

Speaking of the Giants, the MLB treated the neighborhood to a brief by spectacular light and fireworks show on Tuesday night in Golden Gate Park. Only VIPs were invited to the blowout bash at the Academy of Sciences, but the rest of us got a nice, fog-free redux of July 4th. Video and pics of the show here.

If you’re into campy entertainment, head over to the 4-Star Theater tonight for ‚ÄúRoad Trip to Pluto: The Bitter Planet‚Äù. It’s a live show that is a combination of sketch comedy, bad movies, filthy cartoons, audience participation, big musical numbers and live-action B-movies. The story revolves around the scandalous kidnapping of NPR ‚ÄúFresh Air‚Äù host Terry Gross.

I hope everyone has a great Halloween. GO GIANTS!
