kiss_lips1.jpgYou know how in the movies, lovers passionately kiss in the pouring rain and it’s Oh So Romantic?

Well, you can have your own, albeit politicized Say Anything moment from 5-6 today in Harvey Milk Plaza, by locking lips to, in the words of Appeal pal Michael Petrelis, “show your solidarity with the global gay activist movement.”

Yes, today is the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO), and folks who think gay is OK will be participating in a kiss-in at Castro and Market, rain or shine.

We’ve been assured that you don’t have to be LGBT or Q to participate, just be willing to get a little wet while kissing someone in the Castro. Pucker up!

What: International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia Kiss In
Where: Harvey Milk Plaza, Castro and Market
When: Monday, 5/17 5-6 PM
Cost: lip balm, breath mints, towel to dry off
