The San Francisco medical examiner’s office has released the name of the man found fatally stabbed in a residential hotel in San Francisco’s Mission District this morning.

Officers responded to the hotel shortly before 6 a.m. on reports of the stabbing and found the victim, Luis Montaya. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police spokesman Officer Samson Chan said tonight no arrests have been made in the case.
