monopoly_money.jpgSan Francisco police are investigating the armed robbery of a downtown bank late Monday morning.

Police spokesman Sgt. Troy Dangerfield said a middle-aged man entered the bank in the 100 block of California Street at about 11:40 a.m., threatened the bank manager with a gun and ordered everyone to the ground.

No one was injured, and the man escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, Dangerfield said.

He was described only as a white man between 40 and 60 years of age.
