San Francisco firefighters quickly controlled a structure fire in the city’s Alamo Square neighborhood this morning, a fire department dispatcher said.

Units responded to fire reported at the rear of a three-story building in the 600 block of Webster Street at around 4:45 a.m., the dispatcher said.

The fire was declared under control at 4:59 a.m.

There were no injuries reported, the dispatcher said, and the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
