caltrain.jpgCaltrain trains are running behind schedule this morning after a vehicle was stalled on tracks in Palo Alto, a spokeswoman said.

A car was stuck on the tracks at a crossing at Alma Avenue from around 5:45 a.m. until it was removed by a tow truck at around 6:30 a.m., spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

The car was not hit by a train and no one has been injured, Dunn said.

North and southbound trains were held at stations while the car was removed and are now running between 30 minutes and an hour behind schedule.
