In light of today’s 4.1 magnitude quake, Uptown Almanac’s Kevin Montgomery takes this opportunity to display his “Armageddon Bag” emergency kit. Key items include Uno, boxed Indian food, and condoms. Always an optimist, that boy.

But this is a good reminder to make your own emergency kit, and/or to check the one you have. We’ve all seen enough post-apocalyptic movies to know that when the Big Bad happens, it’s the guy with the can of beans who ends up king. Who doesn’t want to be king?

So go check this site to make sure you’re ready. Because if the big one comes, do you really want to have to throw yourself on KevMo’s mercy?
