1/2 2:28 AM: Four people were stabbed in two separate incidents early Friday morning in San Francisco, according to police.

Shortly after midnight, two groups of people were involved in a physical altercation at Pier 35, according to Officer Boaz Mariles. Police arrived to find one person had been stabbed, he said. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated. Mariles said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Three more people were stabbed shortly after 3 a.m. in “a group-on-group situation” in the 700 block of Larkin Street, according to Mariles. None of the individuals’ injuries were life-threatening, he said.

No arrests have been made in either incident, Mariles said late Friday afternoon. Police are investigating, and suspect both incidents were gang-related.

1/1 2:19 AM: One person was hospitalized after a stabbing in San Francisco on New Year’s Eve, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting or a stabbing at Pier 35 at around midnight, police said.

Arriving officers found one person had been stabbed.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No one was arrested, police said.
