Two Injured in Mission District Bus Stop Stabbing

Two men were attacked and stabbed by a group of men as they sat at a Mission District bus stop Tuesday night, according to police.

The victims, ages 34 and 41, were sitting at a bus stop at 18th and Mission streets shortly before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when they were approached by a group of around 10 men, police said.

A fight broke out and the victims were both stabbed. One suffered stab wounds to the back and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other had less serious cuts to the back.

No arrests had been made as of this morning. The suspects were described as a group of males in their late teens or early 20s, police said.
