Police are seeking a man who robbed a Lyft passenger at gunpoint Tuesday night in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood.

At 1 a.m., officers responded to a robbery in the 100 block of Mason Street, according to police.

When officers arrived, they learned that the victim, who was intoxicated, had requested a ride with the ride-sharing service Lyft.

The Lyft vehicle drove around until it picked up another passenger.

The second passenger then pointed a gun at the first passenger, taking her cash and cell phone.
