Motorcycle Officer Involved in Collision in Tenderloin

A motorcycle officer was involved in a collision with a car in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood this morning, a police spokesman said.

The collision happened near Leavenworth Street and Golden Gate Avenue, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said at 8 a.m.

Esparza did not immediately have any other information about the case.

Officers are also at the scene this morning of a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian at Sixth and Stevenson streets. The pedestrian in that collision suffered life-threatening injuries, according to Esparza.

He did not immediately have any other information about the pedestrian or driver.
