The man arrived at the bank in the 2600 block of Ocean Avenue at about 4 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.
The teller, a 28-year-old man, turned over the cash and the suspect left the bank, police said.
Police have not arrested the robber, described as being between 35 and 40 years old.
