A woman was shot in the leg in San Francisco’s Bayview District early Sunday morning, police said.
Shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, two women and a man, all in their 20s, were in the 1400 block of Thomas Avenue, about two blocks away from Third Street, when two male suspects approached them, according to police.
The suspects, described as men in their early 20s, pulled out handguns and began shooting at the three victims, police said.
One of the women in the group suffered a gunshot wound to her leg. She was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.
No suspects have been arrested in the case and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation, according to police.
