Safeway Truck Overturned, Driver Injured in Collision

Police are responding to a collision involving a Safeway grocery truck and another car this evening in San Francisco’s Eureka Valley/Dolores Heights neighborhood, police said.

Officer Ricardo Guerrero said police responded to a report of a collision around 4:20 p.m. at 21st and Guerrero streets.

Guerrero said the collision involved a Safeway truck that overturned, another vehicle and three parked cars.

One of the vehicles crashed into a building, but Guerrero said he didn’t know whether it was a residential or commercial structure.

The driver of the Safeway truck was injured and Guerrero said he did not yet know the extent of the injuries or if anyone else was hurt.
