Man Robs Mission District Bank

A man who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Mission District on Friday morning remains at large, police said today.

The robbery was reported at about 9:40 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Mission Street near the 16th Street Mission BART station, according to police.

The suspect, described as a man between 25 and 30 years old, entered the bank and approached a female teller.

He produced a note demanding money and the bank teller handed him an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspect left the bank before officers arrived and had not been found as of this morning, police said.
