Fisherman’s Wharf Bank Robbed by Man in Fedora

A man donned a fedora to rob a bank near San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf on Monday morning, police said today.

The robbery was reported at 9:13 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Bay Street, according to police.

The white man in his 30s — dressed in a dark button-down shirt, black pants and a fedora — walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.

She complied and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No gun was seen during the robbery, Shyy said.

Apart from his dapper duds, the man stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs an estimated 155 pounds. He remained at large as of this morning.
