SFPD Seeking Suspect in SOMA Bank Robbery

A woman robbed a bank in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Friday afternoon, police said Monday.

The robbery was reported at 3:54 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Brannan Street.

The suspect entered the bank, handed a teller a note demanding money, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. She was last seen heading east on Brannan Street, according to police.

The suspect, described as a black woman between 25 and 30 years old who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and had green streaks in her hair, remained at large as of Monday morning, police said.
