Man Shot During Tenderloin Robbery

Police are investigating a robbery and shooting early this morning in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood.

The 35-year-old victim was in the area of Larkin and Eddy streets just after midnight when a man with a silver handgun approached him, according to police.

Police said the suspect took the victim’s cellphone and said, “Give me everything.”

Police said the victim threw his wallet on the ground and the suspect then shot him in the thigh and hand.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect, a man in his 20s who fled before police arrived, remains at large, police said.
