Medical Examiner Identifies Man Who Was Shot And Killed Friday Night

A man who was shot and killed while sitting in a car in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood on Friday night has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 49-year-old Wesley Willis.

Willis, a San Francisco resident, was shot at about 10 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Harbor Road and Ingalls Street.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

No information was immediately available about a suspect in the shooting, police said today.
