Body of SF Hiker Found in Grand Teton Park

The body of a San Francisco resident was found in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming on Tuesday, according to park officials.

Will Cornyn, 36, was found dead around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the bottom of a steep cliff band near Inspiration Point in the national park. A team of 74 people searched for nearly six hours to find the body, according to park officials.

Cornyn’s girlfriend saw him leave for a hike on 5 p.m. Sunday and notified officials once he hadn’t returned by noon on Monday. Poor weather delayed search teams before they found the body, park officials said.
