Man Stabbed During Tenderloin Mugging

A man was stabbed during a robbery in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at Golden Gate Avenue and Jones Street.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, was holding money in his hands when a man in his 30s approached him, according to police.

The suspect grabbed the money from the victim and stabbed him in the stomach with a knife or similar object, police said.
The suspect then ran off with the money and had not been caught as of this morning.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.
