Electrical Fire Causes Evacuation Of SOMA Restaurant

Crews are responding to a one-alarm fire at a restaurant in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, a fire spokeswoman said.

An electrical fire was reported at 10:08 a.m. in the basement of Henry’s Hunan Restaurant at 101 Natoma St., fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

Everyone inside the restaurant got out of the building safely, she said.

The restaurant was scheduled to open at 11:30 a.m., according to its website.
