A suspected drunken driver was hospitalized after crashing into a concrete planter in front of the Cliff House restaurant in San Francisco early this morning, a police spokesman said.
The crash was reported at about 3:45 a.m., police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy said. The Cliff House is located at 1090 Point Lobos Ave., near Ocean Beach.
The driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, and is expected to be arrested for impaired driving, Shyy said.
Police have not yet released the driver’s name.
