A motorcyclist who died following a crash in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Tuesday evening has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 32-year-old Dennis Featherston.
The crash was reported at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday on John F. Kennedy Drive near Spreckels Lake.
Featherston was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries about two hours later, police said.
He had been traveling east on John F. Kennedy Drive when he struck a curb and a parked car. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
