One Injured In Portola District Blaze

At least one person suffered from minor smoke inhalation at a house fire in San Francisco’s Portola District this morning, a fire department employee said.

The one-alarm fire was reported at 9:45 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Bowdoin Street, the employee said.

Crews responded and had the fire contained just before 10 a.m., the employee said.

She said an ambulance had been requested for at least one person suffering from smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.
