Pedestrian Killed By Driver In Crocker-Amazon

A man who was struck by a vehicle in San Francisco’s Crocker-Amazon neighborhood this afternoon has died, a police department spokesman said.

The collision was reported at 3:29 p.m. at Naples and Rolph streets, Officer Albie Esparza said.

The elderly victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died, Esparza said.

The driver of the vehicle was being interviewed by police, he said.

It was not immediately clear if the victim was walking in a crosswalk when he was hit, Esparza said.
