SF Dental School Offering Free Screenings To Veterans

U.S. military veterans will be able to receive free dental screenings courtesy of the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco next week, according to an event organizer.

In celebration of California’s Veterans Appreciation Week, held on the second week in November each month, U.S. veterans will be able to book a free dental exam to check teeth and gums, have an opportunity to have oral health questions answered and receive a free toothbrush and toothpaste.

Screenings are by appointment only on Nov. 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day, an event organizer said.

Screenings will be given on a first-booked, first-served basis. To make an appointment, veterans should call (415) 929-6503.

The clinic is located at 2155 Webster St. in San Francisco.
