Investigators are trying to locate a hit-and-run driver who struck two pedestrians with a car in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood this morning, a police spokesman said.
The collision occurred at about 10 a.m. at Ellis and Leavenworth streets and involved a four-door Dodge sedan, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.
One of the pedestrians was unhurt and the other, a woman, suffered a leg injury. Her injury was not life-threatening, he said.
The driver fled afterward, and the car was found a short time later abandoned nearby, Shyy said.
No arrests had been made in the case as of late this morning.
