Motorcyclist Killed In Solo Crash Identified

A motorcyclist who died in a crash on an Interstate Highway 80 on-ramp in San Francisco on Thursday morning has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 22-year-old Ulises Diaz.

Diaz, a San Francisco resident, was killed in an accident reported shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday on the Seventh Street on-ramp to westbound Interstate Highway 80, according to the California Highway Patrol.

He apparently lost control of the motorcycle and hit both sides of the on-ramp, and may have been driving recklessly prior to the crash, CHP Officer Mike Ferguson said.

Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.
