Women Sought After Carjacking At Gunpoint

A man had his car stolen at gunpoint by two women in San Francisco’s Bayview District early Friday morning, police said today.

The carjacking was reported around 5 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard.

The 24-year-old victim was getting into his car in the parking lot of his place of work when a woman got into the front passenger seat with a gun and a second woman got into a rear seat, according to police.

The armed suspect told the man she wanted his car, and the suspect drove south to the 1300 block of Egbert Avenue, where he was ordered out of the vehicle, police said.

The suspects, described as in their 30s or 40s, drove off in the car and had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The man was not hurt in the carjacking.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
