The 24th Street BART station in San Francisco was closed Monday evening after a person was hit by a train there, BART officials said.
BART officials announced major delays due to a medical emergency followed by station closures shortly before 10 p.m.
The person’s condition is unknown and it is unclear how long the station will remain closed.
