
A woman was robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco’s Cole Valley neighborhood on Friday afternoon, police said today.
The robbery was reported at 4:54 p.m. Friday near Cole and Carmel streets.
The 43-year-old victim was approached from behind by a suspect who ordered her to hand over her belongings and then put a black handgun to her side and said, “You have 10 seconds before I shoot,” police said.
The victim handed over a backpack and iPhone to the suspect, who ran to a vehicle and drove off, heading north on Stanyan Street, according to police.
The suspect was described as a man between 25 and 30 years old who was driving a newer-model Ford with paper plates, police said.
