11:14 AM: A pedestrian suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a car in San Francisco’s Richmond District this morning, a police spokesman said.
The collision was reported at 8:42 a.m. at Seventh Avenue and Anza Street, San Francisco police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy said.
A man in his 40s was walking north on Seventh Avenue when a southbound beige sedan stopped at a stop sign, then made a left turn onto Anza Street and struck him, Shyy said.
The pedestrian suffered minor abrasions and complained of pain, and was taken to a hospital as a precaution, Shyy said.
The driver of the sedan, a man in his 70s, stopped at the scene, cooperated with investigators and was not cited, according to Shyy.
10:23 AM: A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in San Francisco’s Richmond District this morning, a fire department spokeswoman said.
The pedestrian, a man around 60 years old, was hit at about 8:45 a.m. at Seventh Avenue and Anza Street, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, Talmadge said.
No other information about the collision was immediately available.
