money.jpgSan Francisco police are seeking a man who robbed a bank in the city’s Richmond District on Friday morning.

The robbery was reported at 9:49 a.m. Friday at a bank in the 5200 block of Geary Boulevard, which is near 16th Avenue.

The suspect, described only as a man between 30 and 40 years old, walked into the bank and demanded money from a teller, police said.

He then looked over to a teller at the next counter and demanded money from that person as well, according to police.

Both tellers handed over cash to the suspect, who fled in a white van that was last seen heading north on 17th Avenue, police said.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured.

Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
