A man was injured in a shooting this evening in San Francisco’s Bayview District, police said.
The shooting happened at about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hawes Street and Revere Avenue. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for an injury that is not life-threatening, police said.
A suspect description was not immediately available.
