7:49 AM: BART trains are back on time after early morning delays caused by a maintenance vehicle that broke down on the tracks in Oakland, a BART official said.
Major delays began around 4:45 a.m. after the train became disabled between the MacArthur and 19th Street BART stations, according to the transit agency.
The vehicle has since been cleared from the tracks, and trains are running on schedule again.
6:42 AM: BART riders can expect residual delays of up to 15 minutes across the BART system this morning, according to a BART official.
